Gear Guide

At Northwoods Guide Co. we follow the theory that there is no reason not to have and use the best possible gear available. Often times, performance comes with a price. Other outfitters and guides don’t want to spend the money on high-end gear for rental use, but we believe that it enhances your wilderness experience through ease of use, ease of travel and reliability. We can't control the weather, but we can choose our gear: If the difference between being wet and cold or dry and warm is spending a little more on your gear, then the choice should be obvious. Check out the links below to see the specs on our gear, and if necessary compare our gear choices to similar outfitters, there is no comparison. We use the top of the line gear for everything, all the time, no exceptions.
